【Job Scope】
The Partnership Development Manager - APAC will spearhead sponsorship and partnership initiatives, with a primary focus on the Japan market. This role is critical to diversifying Juventus’ revenue streams by securing high-value sponsorship deals and building strategic relationships with Asian (particularly Japanese) brands, contributing to the Club’s APAC and Global revenue targets.
【Responsibilities】
・Develop Go-to-Market Plan for Japan and APAC: Create and implement a strategic go-to-market plan to acquire sponsorships in Japan, prioritizing high-value opportunities, and extend efforts to other APAC markets to diversify revenue streams.
・Build and Maintain Relationships: Cultivate and sustain long-term partnerships with Japanese sponsors and key stakeholders, fostering trust and ensuring ongoing sponsor engagement through consistent communication and tailored relationship management.
・Lead Pre-Sales and Market Research: Drive pre-sales activities, including lead generation, initial contact, and rapport building with potential sponsors. Conduct market research to identify trends and opportunities, providing insights to support sponsorship, brand development, commercial business, fan engagement, and digital content strategies.
・Execute Sponsorship Sales and Coordination: Collaborate with HQ and Hong Kong Partnership Sales teams to prepare compelling sales pitches and decks, manage the sales pipeline, and negotiate commercial terms alongside the legal team to close high-value sponsorship deals in Japan.
・Enhance Market Presence and Strategy: Actively engage in the Japanese market through regular travel, raising Juventus’ profile, identifying business opportunities, and contributing to the overall sales strategy to align with the club’s commercial objectives.
・Support Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with APAC marketing and sponsorship activation teams to create tailored commercial assets (e.g., digital content, fan experiences) that enhance sponsor value and support broader commercial and brand initiatives.
