【Job Description】

Manchester United is seeking to hire a Commercial Analyst, who will be responsible for performing market research, identifying business opportunities and supporting sales approach. Key duties include market research to potential prospects for commercial partnerships and support business development conversations in key Asian markets especially Japan.

【Key Responsibilities】

・Prospect business opportunities through company sourcing and due diligence

・Conduct market landscape analysis and industry reports

・Draft company deep-dive research reports

・Support business development approach and negotiations – emails / calls / meetings

・Assist in pitching materials preparation

・Provide translation of documents, and interpretation on calls & in face-to-face meetings

・Build up commercial databases and research processes

【Qualifications】

・Proficient in both English and Japanese (speaking & writing)

・Degree holder, preferably degree in business administration

・Knowledgeable in Japan market landscape & business development trend

・Good analytical and problem-solving skills

・Strong communication (writing & verbal) and inter-personal skills

・Proactive, confident and highly motivated

・Team-oriented and able to work independently

・Proficient in Microsoft Office and efficient in internet research

・Comfortable working in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment

・Passionate in brand development and sales (not exclusive to sport)

・Experience or knowledge in sports marketing is a plus

・Willing to travel
