The Players’ Tribune was established in 2014 by former New York Yankees captain Derek Jeter, to provide a platform for athletes to share their voice. We believe in the power of athletes to change our society for the better. The Players’ Tribune Japan was established in 2021 as a collaborative project with our partner, Miraikanai. We are looking for a team member who can share our passion and belief and make a positive impact to society.
We are looking for a Project Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing The Players’ Tribune Japan strategy and working with domestic and international teams based in US, UK, BR and Israel.
What You’ll Do
・Elevate TPT Japan to the next level by developing growth strategy aimed at building a larger base of audiences and brand awareness.
・Create a way of working and a process to manage cross-functional teams and ensure each stakeholder delivers on their scope of work within timelines to ensure smooth running of the project.
・Work together with each team (Global and Local, Editorial, Athlete Marketing, Social and Commercial) and guide teams to achieve goals.
・Act as a bridge between TPT JP, TPT US, BR, and UK teams. Ensure strong working relationships with teams and facilitate cross-country learnings with the local team.
・Organize TPT-related events i.e. annual events, press conferences etc to increase brand awareness in Japan.
・Play an integral role in the development of strategic 3rd party partnerships with sporting organizations and agencies.
・Support commercial team activities ie) production and campaign delivery
・Work in collaboration with commercial teams in brainstorming new commercial opportunities.

What You Have
・3+ years of project management skills
・Business English level is essential
・Project management skills. Experience in developing and executing strategies is advantageous.
・Experience growing media audience base
・Good communication skills
・Respect culture and language difference
・Media, PR or Advertising experience preferred
・Ability to multi-task and work successfully with teams, both internal and external
・Excellent time management skills
・Multitasking and prioritization skills
・Some understanding of commercial development is advantageous
・Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
