Russell has dedicated his 25-year career to development and execution of best-in-class sports business partnerships in both the United States and Australia. Through leadership roles with adidas America, Major League Soccer, and now NBC Sports, Russell has diverse and extensive experience with the business of sport from brand, property, and media perspectives.
For the past seven years, Russell has served in a sales leadership role with NBC Sports in their New York office. Working with the sales team, Russell is responsible for setting and implementing the national sales strategy for key NBC Sports partner properties including the English Premier League, NASCAR, IndyCar, Notre Dame football, and the Tour de France. In his current role, Russell works across internal NBC Sports business functions and with external partners to develop and implement unique and creative sponsorship integrations across these core partner properties.

Charlie Sungho Shin is a highly analytical customer strategy and marketing executive with global and domestic experience in data analytics, strategic planning, project management, customer segmentation, customer relationship management, and KPI management. He currently oversees the data strategy and analytics for Indianapolis Colts where he excels at guiding enterprise data strategy, CRM initiatives, and organization-wide marketing technology infrastructure.
Prior to joining the Colts, Charlie was a VP of Strategy & Analytics at MLS for past 15 years where he developed the foundation and enhanced league-wide data strategy, analytic capabilities and CRM technology infrastructure. He also worked as a senior business consultant at Samsung OpenTide and PwC Consulting for over six years managing various projects related to customer strategy, CRM strategy, performance marketing, customer segmentation and new business model development. In addition, he currently serves as an adjunct faculty at Columbia University’s graduate sports management program.
Charlie holds a BA in business administration from Yonsei University, MS in sports business from New York University and currently pursuing PhD in Sports Management from Troy University.

He has been a contributing writer to Sports Illustrated and The New York Times, among other international news outlets, and is a cofounder of the Kicking + Screening Soccer Film Festival in New York. Outside of his professional career, Lalas sits on the advisory board of the internationally respected nonprofit Soccer Without Borders.

Mike Ernst joined the Chicago Fire in 2009 and has held numerous leadership positions across Ticket Sales and Service, Operations, Marketing and Corporate Partnerships during his tenure. In his current role as Senior Vice President of Sales and Revenue, Ernst is responsible for the longterm strategy and success of the Chicago Fire FC Ticket Sales and Service units, including season ticket sales and service, group sales, premium and hospitality and ticket operations. Ernst also has oversight of the Club’s business intelligence department, ensuring the successful management and integration of club data sources into ticket sales strategy at Soldier Field.
Prior to joining the Fire, Ernst was a Senior Account Executive with the Seattle Supersonics of the National Basketball Association. While with the Sonics, he was responsible for Corporate and Courtside ticket sales. This experience included the development of a ticket sales relationship with the Microsoft Corporate Office in Redmond, Wash.
Ernst started his career working for McLeodUSA Telecommunications. While at McLeod, he was responsible for Accounts Receivable for the phone company’s top accounts. During his four years with McLeodUSA, he earned employee of the month on five separate occasions.
He earned his MA in Sports Management from the University of Iowa and a B.A. in Marketing & Public Relations at Saint Ambrose University. Ernst resides in Forest Park with his wife Rachelle and their three children: Nora, James and Max.

Björn Walliser is Professor of Marketing at the University of Lorraine (ISAM-IAE) and Director of the Master in Marketing Management and Sales at the same university.
The main research interests of Björn Walliser are in the fields of international marketing, marketing communication, and sports marketing. He is among the most cited authors in the area of sponsorship internationally, is the author of two books about sponsorship management and sponsorship control and has published in leading international journals (European Journal of Marketing, International Journal of Advertising, Journal of Business Research, Marketing – ZFP, etc.) about these issues. He regularly works as a consultant for event organizers, federations, and sponsors. He previously hold positions as Associate Professor of Marketing at the Robert Schuman University Strasbourg (France), at the Munich office of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), at the city of Stuttgart (Germany) Sport and Event Planning Group, has been Director of the GREFIGE research

Marcelo has been working within marketing and sales since 1998. Over the years, he had the opportunity to work and live in a number of different countries including Italy, Brazil, the US, the UK and Switzerland. In 2011, Marcelo joined IMG's International Headquarters in London before being transferred to the company's Italian branch late in 2012. Graduated as a Chemical Engineer with an MBA in his native Venezuela, Gustavo Arellano has worked extensively outside the sport industry in commercial areas with a special focus on marketing. He lives in Switzerland since 2015, upon completing a Master's Degree in Sports Administration and Technology with AISTS.
His experience in different markets allowed him to successfully build the FIBA Market Intelligence and Research Program; he also supported the National Federation teams worldwide in the implementation of a new competition system and managed the global sponsorship program for the FIBA China Basketball World Cup 2019 with historic results for the organization.
Gustavo is currently responsible for the commercial development of the FIBA family with special attention to the sustainable growth of basketball around the world, establishing strategies and building new assets and innovative partnerships such as Twitch, Synergy Sports, among others.
Gustavo believes in sharing and building; As personal projects, he founded a sports thinking group in Lausanne, he is an ad honorem commercial advisor for Special Olympics and also generates content to contribute to the professionalization of sport in Latam through his social networks.
